Name your guess. Type a country name or a familiar abbreviation such as UK or USA. The globe never reveals an unguessed country name.

Read the distance. It is measured between the nearest points on both countries’ borders.

Use the trend. Every result tells you whether you moved closer or farther than your previous guess.

Find the country. Your guesses remain ranked from nearest to farthest throughout the game.

DISTANCE MODEL

Built for fast, consistent play.

Distances are precomputed between sampled country borders using WGS84 geodesic measurements. Shared land borders return 0 km. Overseas geometry counts where it is present in the source map.

The bundled Natural Earth low-resolution geometry is supplemented with mapped point approximations for 28 microstates and small island nations. This makes every country playable, although those particular distances should be treated as close estimates rather than survey-grade measurements.
